Greywacke Arch at Central Park

Click here for Details Of the Image

I began this depiction of Central Park before the September 11th attack. I had contemplated that the tunnel represented the fear of the uncertainty of the future, which we all face at times in our lives. After the attack, the image became more powerful, as all of us suddenly feared impending danger. The lovers in the tunnel were created because we turn to one another in times of fear. Love can help us through those tunnels. The original is available for purchase. Please email info@ledouxgallery.com for inquiries about purchasing.
